Why there's no single number
A composite score would let a good week of sleep hide a month of not seeing anyone. Each domain stands alone and says what would move it. Amber is information, not a failing grade.
Device agnostic. Works with nothing connected: focus, journal and connection come from the app itself. A wearable sharpens sleep and movement; it isn’t required for any of this, and there is no ring to buy.

The canister work isn't written. This screen describes what it will do, and says plainly that it doesn't do it today. A privacy promise you can't verify is marketing. When it ships, this badge changes and you'll be able to test the revoke yourself.
Why it costs anything
Because storage you own costs money to run, and we'd rather pass it through than bury it. We are not charging you for privacy. You already have that, free, above. You'd be paying for infrastructure that makes the promise checkable instead of trustworthy. If that distinction sounds like hair-splitting, don't buy it: the free tier is not a worse deal, it's the same deal without the receipts.

Why this screen exists
A 2026 study of 35,000 negative reviews of a competitor found hundreds of cases of unwanted advances from the companion, mostly to people who had asked for a friend. Setting a register should be a setting, not a negotiation.

We will never change them quietly
In 2023 a competitor removed capabilities overnight with no notice. Users described it as bereavement. Personality is versioned here. You get told before, you can read exactly what moved, and you can stay on the version you have.

No library access. Ever.
Used for bottles, your pilot card and the Cove. Because it can only be taken here and now, it can't be a stolen picture of someone else, which is the entire point.
Composed
Wefies and memory fragments. No real face unless you put one there, so these persist and you can share them anywhere. This is what fills your Archive.
Uploaded
The only route for library images, and only for accounts that have passed identity checks. Everything carries an invisible per-viewer watermark, so a leak is traceable to whoever leaked it.

Rare means rare in the world, never a roll. Aura from finds and visits share one cap: 10 a day, 20 a week, nothing after 23:00.
City glow
Visits and finds light your neighbourhood, together with everyone there. When it lights, everyone who helped gets its souvenir.
Neighbourhoods are at least 1 km². Other people's glow arrives a day late and shows as a count; your crew and friends you invited show by name. Nothing here shows where anyone was. Visits add 3, finds add 2.
